 ry of frames, types and parts of frames, and the anatomy of a frame. It al
 so discusses design considerations and the role of framing in preservation
  and conservation.The second part features a live demonstration showing th
 e tools and materials used in framing. Participants will see how artworks 
 are mounted, protected with glass or acrylic, secured within the frame, an
 d finished with a cover.Together, the presentation and demonstration provi
 de a brief overview of how frames enhance the display of artworks while he
 lping to protect them.
