Uncovering Queer Figures in History: A lecture on New Jersey's queer historical figures
Their lecture will focus on key, queer figures in New Jersey that might have been missed in other history lessons. They will highlight queer figures in New Jersey and explore their impact on NJ history. Rutgers professor Kristyn Scorsone is a lecturer in the History department at Rutgers University-Newark and New Brunswick, a public historian with the Queer Newark Oral History Project and the Humanities Action Lab, and earned a PhD in American Studies from Rutgers University-Newark.
