Get Your REAL ID at the Library!
The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission’s (NJMVC) Mobile Unit is coming to the Parsippany Library to help residents upgrade to a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or non-driver identification card.

As of May 7, 2025, a REAL ID or other federally approved identification (such as a U.S. passport) will be required to fly within the United States and enter certain federal facilities.

At this special event, you’ll be able to:

  • Apply for a REAL ID driver’s license or non-driver ID.
  • Renew your license or registration.
  • Access other NJMVC services conveniently at the library.

What to Bring:
To obtain a REAL ID, you must present the required documents proving your identity, Social Security number, and New Jersey residency. Please review the NJMVC document checklist before your appointment. Originals or certified copies are required.
