The New Jersey Department of Human Services Office of New Americans (ONA) helps immigrants and refugees integrate by connecting them to vital services like healthcare, education (ESL), employment aid, and legal help, while also improving overall access to state programs, offering outreach, and managing refugee resettlement, ensuring newcomers can become self-sufficient and build trust within communities. They provide resources for understanding rights, offer translation support, and connect people to cash, medical, and employment assistance, working to make state services accessible to all linguistic backgrounds.
