Program Description

Event Details

We’ve got a very special exhibit at the Mount Tabor Branch Library for August & September! Antonio Petruccelli was an illustrator and artist who lived in Mount Tabor from 1938-1994. In addition to many magazine covers of the 1930’s, he created many familiar images you know in Mount Tabor, including our Children’s Day banner art and a painting of our old firehouse for their 50th anniversary in 1960.

Come to our reception on August 20th from 6-7pm. Mount Tabor Historical Society President Michelle Munn will give a talk about the life and work of the artist. Mount Tabor residents who knew him will share stories and memories. Let’s celebrate this renowned artist from our community and introduce his work to a new generation!

Prints of Antonio Petruccelli art are available for sale with the proceeds benefiting the Parsippany Library and the Mount Tabor Historical Society. The exhibit will be on display for the months of August & September. Refreshments will be served.

GPS: Use Mount Tabor Post Office 26 Simpson Ave. Mount Tabor, NJ 07834

Parking is by the post office and then walk up the left side of the fire station.

The library is the 4th building on the left.
