Program Description

Event Details

Join the Morris Museum Astronomical Society to explore the galaxies of our sky.

July evenings bring the summer triangle of stars (Vega, Deneb, and Altair) into clear view, along with the constellations Lyra, Cygnus, and Aquila rising high in the East. On this moonless night, we might glimpse Mars before it sets in deep twilight. After that, we'll use our telescopes to enjoy beautiful star clusters in Hercules and Auriga and brilliant double stars and nebulae in Cygnus, Sagitta, and Sagittarius.  Join us for an interesting and informative night under the stars.
