Join us at the Main Library for a festive Holiday Sing-Along!

Holiday sing-alongs are a cherished tradition that brings joy, connection, and community spirit. Did you know many beloved carols have fascinating histories? “Silent Night” was first performed in Austria in 1818, while “Jingle Bells” was originally written for Thanksgiving! The repeating lyrics in favorites like “Feliz Navidad” help make these songs fun and easy for everyone to join—no musical experience needed.

We’re delighted to welcome Nancy Petrucelli as our special guest leader. Raised in Berlin, NJ, Nancy studied Classical and Jazz Trombone at Illinois State University and Glassboro State College. Her musical journey has taken her across the country, performing both classical and jazz repertoire, including with the Oklahoma Symphony and the Dallas Brass Quintet. She was also one of the first women to perform in the Mummers Parade.

Now based in Hillsborough, NJ, Nancy is an active freelance musician throughout New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia. She is a member of the International Women’s Brass Conference and performs with ensembles such as the Silver Starlite Orchestra, the Joey Katz Big Band, the Garden State Trombone Quartet, and the NJ Brass Quintet.

Come enjoy an afternoon of music, community, and holiday cheer. Light refreshments will be served.
