With over 50 years of experience in the field of criminal justice, Dr. John Paitakes brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to this program. His career has included roles as a Somerset County Probation Officer, Professor of Criminal Justice at Seton Hall University, and a decade of part-time service on the New Jersey State Parole Board. He is also the author of 50 Years Working in Criminal Justice.

In this presentation, Dr. Paitakes will draw from his extensive career to address common myths and misconceptions about the criminal justice system, offering a clearer understanding of this complex and fascinating field.
